For an orthodontic consultation, you do not have to be referred by your general dentist. Our orthodontists will do a thorough orthodontic examination at your initial visit to evaluate your bite and alignment.
Also, if you do not have your own general dentist already, we are happy to recommend a few as well!

The American Association of Orthodontists states that an orthodontic evaluation should be done for all children ages 7+. There are many bite and skeletal issues that are best treated earlier and it is important to look out for those before it gets too complicated to treat due to age.

Our office offers both options for our patients depending on their treatment goals and priorities. Our doctors will go over with you both treatment options and its pros/cons for your type of bite and alignment.

Depending on treatment phase and length, the cost of treatment also varies. If you have orthodontic benefits with your dental insurance, the cost of your treatment may be lower as well. To find out the cost of treatment and your insurance coverage, schedule an initial exam where we will go over treatment options and costs.

We accept most PPO insurances and can verify your orthodontic coverage and benefits to determine your out of pocket cost.

It is recommended that you continue visiting your dentist every 6 months for cleanings and exams to make sure your teeth and gums are healthy during orthodontic treatment. If any dental work is needed during treatment, we are happy to accommodate that with removal of wires or single brackets as needed.

We understand orthodontic “emergencies” happen - poky wires, broken brackets, loose appliances, etc. Our office is available to help take care of any of those situations - simply call our office to give us a heads up and we will try our best to accommodate you and coach you through how you might be able to make yourself more comfortable in the meantime as well!
